The Aging of Aquarius

I'm having a real problem with getting older but, like, who cares? Can't nothing stop that train, except the end of the line... Wiser (and older) minds than mine have said, "There's nothing good to say about aging..." That's just your vanity speaking, says Andy.
So, what do you think is the upside of aging?

Here are a few of my positives:
     - less need (or capacity) to put up with bull shit
     - less anxiety 'cause, as Zana says, "Things have worked out thus far, why would that change now?"
     - more wisdom (hopefully this is true for you:-0)
     - more self-awareness, therefore less self-doubt
     - a proven track record (in some field or other, even if it's just sniffing orchids)
     - some traction in the career world
     - maybe some stuff that used to matter so much starts mattering less, and maybe that's ok
     - what's the alternative???

Here are a couple of my golden oldie heroes! They make me want to keep on truckin'.
Paddy's 92 and not letting a fractured pelvis stop her from inspiring everyone around her!
At 70 this jungle woman calls herself Letty la Loca--she don't care what you think about her.

She's been living off the land her whole life: look at her now.

Gonna send my boys to her to learn how to survive.
Emelia: a life lived outside, and plenty, plenty of golden smiles.

Self-proclaimed iconoclast: living life one day at a time.
